Rep. Jim Jordan introduced Amendment #104 to CR1 co-sponsered by Blackburn TN, Flake
AZ, Garrett NJ, Pence IN, Campbell CA, Duncan SC, Guinta NH, Huelskamp KS,
Southerland FL, and Walsh MI, that would get the bill back to FY 2008 non-security
discretion spending levels (i.e. get us to the full $100 billion in non-security
savings) via: A 5.5% across-the board cut of all accounts in eight non-security
divisions of the CR; An 11% across-the-board cut of all accounts in the
Legislative Branch bill; and A 0% cut for Israel (i.e. no cut to Israel funding).
All in keeping with the GOP "Pledge to America" to save $100 Billion from the
2011 FY Operations Budget - so, now you will know who we can trust for the next
2 years and who is giving us the "finger" |
